From 22-27 March 2025, Reckless Enduro.nl will be organizing the Reckless Rally Raid Portugal for the second time. This rally is intended for the more experienced Enduro and/or All-road rider. During the six-day event, after the prologue on Saturday 22 March, 5 more stages will be driven through the beautiful landscape of Northern Portugal. From a centrally located bivouac in Mondim de Basto, the stages will be driven on GPS, divided into two classes. The enduro class and the All-road class. There is a difference in difficulty level between the two classes and they are a challenge for the off-road rider. There is also a two-day marathon stage planned, which will test not only the riding technique but also the key technique of the off-road rider.
The rally raid will be held in a semi-professional rally environment. This means that every rider
will be centrally monitored with a tracking system and that medical assistance will be available.
Every rider will have a working mobile phone on the road and will not only bring a medical kit but
also basic tools for the motorcycle. In addition to the wonderful challenge of a very varied
landscape, the safety of the riders is also very important. Before the start, an extensive check of
the motorcycles and the required documents regarding insurance, etc. will take place.
For the organization of the rally raid, we ask each participant to pay a registration fee. Obtaining
the permits and the total organization are guaranteed with this. The accommodation, of which a
list with possible accommodations in Mondim de Basto will be sent upon registration, the rental
of the tracker, a possible photo arrangement, the return trip and the usual costs for your
motorcycle, are also costs that must be taken into account. Upon arrival, each participant will
receive a goody bag, containing, among other things, the starting number and a folder with
extensive information.
For us, it is a challenge to organize this rally raid and to see the smiling faces of the real off-road
riders. A challenge where enjoyment is paramount and where ‘Stay Reckless’ will make the
blood flow faster.
